So much for the battle of Loftus Road. With what seemed like the biggest Police Counter Terrorism operation since 9/11 on Saturday, no sign of any trouble! Even the match its self was a bit of a damp squib, in a tense and tight affair, Chelsea made up for their appalling luck in the league fixture with a penalty that Mark Hughes is still moaning about. Bottom line is that it was a penalty, Mata scored it, and we’re in the next round of a competition that might just be our only chance of a trophy this season.

The biggest winners on the day have to be the Chelsea supporters who were impeccably behaved throughout and got behind the team and JT in particular. The same cannot be said for the QPhahaha fans who couldn’t even sell out for their ‘Cup final’ against the team they count as their biggest rivals and clearly hate!

We discuss all the ins and outs of the match against QPHahahaha as well this week’s Match Awards - the ‘Fannies’ - for Man of the Match, Chant of the Match, Guinness and Celery moments in the show.

Our special guest this week is Neil Ashton, Daily Mail Football News Correspondent, the first football journalist brave enough to come on the show. Chidge turns all David Dimbleby and ChelTel all Jeremy Paxman as Neil answers questions on transfers; AVB’s future; JT and Lamps; CPO; Media bias and accuracy and what it’s really like to be a football journalist.

The issues tackled this week include a look at Juventus' fantastic win over Udinese which sees them move closer to the Scudetto.

We also cast our eye over the Bianconeri's frontman Alessandro Matri and star defender Andrea Barzagli, both of whom have been key to the Old Lady's cause this season.

However, with Udinese losing Inter had the chance to close the gap to the Zebrette, but stumbled to a defeat away to Lecce. A defeat in which Wesley Sneijder was taken off at half-time leading to more question marks over his future.

Meanwhile, AC Milan were guided to victory once again by Zlatan Ibrahimovic, which Antonio Nocerino enjoying another fine performance.

The issues tackled this week include, Juventus fantastic form and reasons why Antonio Conte has taken his team to the winter championship.

We also cast our eye over Inter after another win, this time over Lazio, which seen them leapfrog the Biancocelesti in fourth place. Though it wasn't the prettiest performance, Claudio Ranieri's men continue their march up Serie A.

However, with praise being heaped onto the shoulders of the Nerazzurri, there is nothing but doom and gloom for all those Roma fans out there. A thrilling 5-1 win over Cesena at the weekend, then a crushing defeat to Juventus in the Coppa Italia.

Meanwhile, Palermo also put in a five-star performance against opponents Genoa, but was it talisman Fabrizio Miccoli or the Grifone's lack of defensive nous that was the deciding factor?

All this and a whole lot more will be answered in this weeks show, plus we ask whether or not Francesco Totti should return to the Azzurri set-up for Euro 2012.

A show tinged with mixed feelings this week as the Chelsea FanCast crew say farewell to Dr Mart before he departs to sunny climes. As well as discussing the win against Sunderland, the boys join the many tributes to Dr Mart and the longest Dear Mart ever!

Back to league business this week, and business was duly taken care of by the Chels at the Bridge against the in-form Sunderland. After a rather turgid first half both on and off the pitch, Chelsea turned things round in the last 10 minutes of the match to dispatch a game Pompey side and run out 4-0 winners. Ray ‘Rambo’ Mears at the top of his game again and Super Frankie Lampard scores his 10^th goal of the season, making him our joint top scorer with Studge. But was this papering over the cracks or are we back on the right road?

Stamford Chidge, Dr Mart, ChelTel and Pablo are joined by “He Who Must Not Be Named” from cfcuk and the delicious Jenny B to discuss all the ins and outs of the win against Pompey as well this week’s Match Awards - the ‘Fannies’ - for Man of the Match, Chant of the match, Guinness and Celery moments in the show.

The boys are back after the Christmas and New Year fixtures, and thanks to the results, they are not full of Christmas cheer! Thankfully they have a win against Wolves to discuss! All this plus one of the last ‘Dear Mart’s’…ever!

So if you’re a Chelsea supporter, the Christmas fixtures have had about as much cheer as a turd left in your Christmas stocking. Outplaying Spurs but only getting a 1-1 draw; 1-0 up against Wigan before going to sleep and getting a 1-1 draw. Poor against Fulham for another 1-1 draw, and shocking against Villa in losing 3-1. Welcome to the New World order ladies and gents, we’ve got our Chelsea back. That having been said we are unbeaten in 2012 as the Chels actually showed some fight for the battle in gaining a workmanlike 2-1 against Wolves, and remember we lost against them last year, so that’s got to be an improvement!

We discuss all the ins and outs of the win against Wolves as well as a quick look back at the Christmas fixtures, and we also ask what the future holds for Chelsea. All that plus this week’s Match Awards - the ‘Fannies’ - for Man of the Match, Chant of the match, Guinness and Celery moments.

We’ve got our first DLBIA of the New Year with a right back who played in the ‘80’s and ‘90’s and who of course was much better than Boswinga! We’ve also got what could well be the last ever 'Dear Mart' with the good Dr’s imminent departure to ChelTel Aviv! And to finish off we read the best posts from the week in “You’re on CFFC”.
