On this week’s show we mourn the loss of the FA Cup, but hey all is not lost as we have Chelsea Fan, Punk Musician and Author of the ‘Wrong Outfit’, Al Gregg on the show. Not forgetting, the Fannies, Dear Mart and Don’t Look Back in Anger with Robert Fleck.
So the frustration continues and we’re mainly sulking about Chelsea being knocked out of the FA Cup – the first time Chelsea have been beaten in the competition since 2008 – in the cruelest if ways… on penalties! Mind you, as the Special One would have said. Penalties don’t count. If only that were true…
Anyway, we have a right old natter about both the Everton and Fulham games in the show
and award our Man and Chant of the Match and Guinness and Celery moments from the games. A couple of hilarious chants and David ‘Sideshow Bob ‘ Luiz are featured heavily.
After that we have “We’re out to Show the World the Way to Sing” with a difference, with the exclusive airing of Al Gregg’s very own Chelsea song, with Guitars, as Joe Strummer would say – he calls it “Chelsea Buzz” and it certainly gave us one!
We also talk to Al about his excellent book “The Wrong Outfit” described by Chidge as “Adrian Mole on Glue”. If you love Chelsea and you love Punk Rock, you’ll love Al’s book. We’ll also be giving away a signed copy in one our little competition thingeys so listen out for that and send your answer to Chidge on Facebook or email Football FanCast.
In “Don’t Look Back in Anger” this week, we look back with fond memories on another Chelsea player from the past – this week Robert Fleck. Let’s hope Torres doesn’t go the same way!
Dr Mart is in the surgery this week to answer your Chelsea questions in Dear Mart and finally, we’ll be reading out the best posts of the week in You’re on CFFC.
