Chidge and the boys discuss the win over Blackburn Rovers, the “Fannies”, bets with Paddy Power, transfers with Heineken, an old skool terrace classic involving shagging and beer, Jonny Bumstead, “Dear Mart” and “You’re on CFFC”. Confused – you will be!

We were all at the Bridge on Saturday to see Chelsea eek out a workman like win over a stubborn Blackburn Rovers - a rare occurrence recently – a Chelsea win in the Premier League! The boys discuss Brana Ivanovic’s man-of-the-match performance, JT’s new role as striker and Ramires (now known as ‘Ray-Mears’) improvement. On the down side the attack looked toothless, and the Bridge was a bit of a morgue for much of the match! Never the less, we award our weekly Man of the Match; Chant of the Match; Celery and Guinness moments popularly known as the “Fannies”!

With a bit of research from Ross we tip up a few bets for the match against Bolton next Monday with our special Paddy Power free bet offer, and we also have a discussion on who we would like to see arrive at the Bridge in the transfer window, sponsored by Heineken.

Jonny Bumstead, Chelsea stalwart for 13 years in the days “when we were shit” is the featured player in “Don’t Look Back in Anger”, and appropriately a terrace classic from the days when Chelsea regularly took 10,000 and more away to Norvern outposts is belted out in “We’re Out To Show The World The Way To Sing!”

Finally, Dr Mart offers up some Chelsea diagnosis in “Dear Mart”, and the best Facebook posts of the week are featured in “You’re on CFFC”.

great pod as well guys, thanks a bunch! just want to give my 2 cents on the transfer situation

First off I'd like to see bosingwa go. I think we can play ramires or essien on the right side or have a 3 player rotation with ivanovic thrown in (considering with alex fit, he will play cb with terry). I don't see bosingwa having the same pace of ramires and he's getting up there in age.

The one new arrival I'd really like to see is Canales, although I'd love to see Luiz and Sanchez come on board. If we had those 3 arrive it'd do the side well in the present and moving forward from a youth standpoint.
